Box substation
Box substation, also known as European-style prefabricated substation, is made up of high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage power distribution panel, distribution transformer and shell.

As a new type of power supply and distribution device, it has many advantages than traditional civil substation. Thanks to its small size, small floor space, compact structure, easy to move, thus it greatly shortens the basic construction period and floor area, and reduces the cost of infrastructure construction. At the same time, the site installation for box-type substation is simple, power supply is rapid and the equipment maintenance is simple. In particular, it can get deep into the load center, which has great significance in improving the quality of power supply, reducing loss of electric energy and enhancing the reliability of power supply and distribution network transformation.
Products meet GB/17467-2010 "high and low voltage prefabricated substation" and IEC1330 standards.
Main function
To complete the conversion, distribution, transmission, measuring, compensation and the system control of the electrical energy, meanwhile, realizing the functions of protection and communication.
Structural feature
It is mainly divided into three functional compartments, the high-voltage room, transformer room and low-voltage room. The high-voltage room is fully functional. It consists of a primary power supply system composed of HXGN17-12 ring network cabinets. It can be arranged into a variety of power supply modes such as ring network power supply, terminal power supply, and dual power supply. High-voltage measurement elements can also be installed. Transformers can be S11, S13 and other low-loss oil-immersed transformers or SCB10 dry-type transformers. The transformer room is equipped with an automatic forced air cooling system and a lighting system. The low-voltage room can adopt a panel or cabinet-mounted structure to form the power supply solution required by the user according to the user requirements. It has multiple functions such as power distribution, lighting distribution, reactive power compensation, and user energy measuring, etc.

- The enclosure material can be aluminum alloy plate, stainless steel plate, composite plate, glass fiber reinforced cement plate, etc.
- The base of the substation is made of galvanized channel steel or cement, with strong corrosion resistance and sufficient mechanical strength.
- The roof applies double layer structure, which has good heat insulation, radiation protection and ventilation effect.
- Each compartment of the substation is separated by iron plates to form an independent small chamber. Each compartment is equipped with lighting facilities. The top of the transformer compartment is equipped with an automatic exhaust device to adjust the temperature of the transformer compartment.
- The color of the substation can be customized to fit with the surrounding environment.
- The transformer can be configured with oil immersed transformer or dry type transformer accordingly.
