Spot drills are designed with minimal flute length, and stub overall length, to keep the point doing the spotting as rigid and accurate as possible. These spot drills are used to spot a hole to be followed up later for drilling with a standard style drill bit. With its precisely centered tip grind and right-hand cutting design, this spot drill allows for easy drilling and ensures high accuracy of the center hole.Available in solid carbide with a choice of three included angles. Choose from either 60, 90 or 120 degree spot drills included angle point. Choose from uncoated, ALTiN or TiSiN coated, for more demanding applications in ferrous metals and cast irons.
