TPCF/SF/MF media filter
According to different media, the filter use and role are also different.Media generally are quartz sand, activated carbon, manganese sand, anthracite, etc. TPCF use activated carbon as media, TPSF sand filter use quartz sand, TPMF use manganese sand to remove iron, manganese. It can also be used in combination.
The main function is to remove suspended matter, mechanical impurity, organic matter, reduce the turbidity of water, adsorption, removal of pigment, residual chlorine colloid and iron ion in water. It can be selected according to the amount of filtration size, use and operation is very simple.
Activated carbon is a very fine carbon particles with great microporous in unit area, usually called capillary pore, the capillary has a strong adsorption capacity due to the surface area of the carbon particles, in full contact with impurities in water, these impurities can be adsorbed in the pores. The activated carbon filter is used for color and smell removal and get rid of colloid impurities in water.
It is widely used in water pretreatment of household water and food industry, chemical, power and other industries.
