1. Application Field
Gate valves serve to cut the medium flow in the pipe system, widely used in the field of potable water, water supply and drainage, sewage disposal, irrigation and so on.
Gate valves are named after the gate-shaped disc that controls the flow of fluids. The disc is raised or lowered by a threaded stem, allowing for the opening or closing of the valve. When the gate is fully raised, a straight path is created for the fluid to flow through, resulting in minimal resistance and pressure drop.
