Storage method  
Sodium hydroxide shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat source. The storage temperature shall not exceed 35 ºC, and the relative humidity shall not exceed 80%. The package must be sealed to prevent moisture. It shall be stored separately from inflammable (combustible) substances, acids, etc., and mixed storage shall not be allowed. The storage area shall be equipped with appropriate materials to contain the leakage.

Engineering control: closed operation, pay attention to ventilation.
Respiratory protection: wear gas mask if necessary.
Eye protection: wear chemical safety glasses.
ody protection: wear work clothes (made of anticorrosive materials). Hand protection: wear rubber gloves.
Others: shower and change clothes after work. Pay attention to personal hygiene.
