Applications
CFS-553 is normally used as a cross-linking agent and an intermediate for silicone rubbers and organic silicone compounds. It also performs as a constituent of silica gels and silicone resins.
CFS-553 can also be used for fillers treatment and surface modification. It's especially suitable for surface treatment of glass fiber.
CFS-553 can act as a cross-linking agent for room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and a treating agent for reinforced plastic laminated products.
Storage
CFS-553 is offered in 25L PE pails, 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.

CFS-553 Methyltrimethoxysilane is one of the most common crosslinkers. This alkyl silane is normally acting as a crosslinking agent for the preparation of RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) silicone rubbers.
