Diesel generator set is a kind of energy conversion equipment. It converts chemical energy into thermal energy and
then into mechanical energy and finally into the required electrical energy. Fuel is its raw material and electrical energy

The diesel generator set is a kind of mechatronics equipment. It is composed of three major components: diesel engine,

4. The diesel generator set starts quickly and can reach full power quickly. It only takes a few seconds and can be
brought to full load within 1 minute in case of emergency (normally 5~30MIN). The shutdown process is short and
can start and stop frequently.
5. The maintenance operation of diesel generator set is simple, there are few people, and it is easy to maintain during
standby period.
