There are 2 kinds of air hose couplings, which are European air coupling (DIN3489) and Chicago air coupling (USA type). Materials are mainly carbon steel, malleable iron and stainless steel. Air hose coupling is name Universal couplings as well. Available with full range size. It is connected by two claws or multi claws. Sizes over I inch have a four lug design. It is easy to connect or disconnect. Air hose coupling is mainly applied to industrial hose, water transport and mining machines.
