Overall curtain wall thermal performance is a function of the glazing infill panel, the frame, construction behind opaque (spandrel and column cover) areas, and the perimeter details. REXI have specially designed curtain wall system. The system thermal insulation U-value is low to 0.8 W/m2.K

Curtain walls have the primary purpose of keeping air and water out of the building, essentially acting as both a buffer and an insulator.
