What is Laser Cut Head ?

A laser cutting head is a component of a laser cutting machine that houses the laser beam delivery system and optics necessary for cutting materials. The head also often includes a nozzle or aperture through which assist gas, such as oxygen, nitrogen, or air, is directed onto the material to help with the cutting process. The head may be mounted on a gantry system or robotic arm, allowing it to move precisely over the material to be cut.
