PVB RESIN is the abbreviation of Polyvinyl Butyral Resin, a kind of thermoplastic resin.
Features:
1.Excellent adhesion to metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, wood, concentrate, leather etc.
2.With very large surface area combined with low molecular weight, product undergoes into solution under mild agitation in a very short time to offer clear transport solution with minimum loss of solvent.
3.Product is soluble in low cost environment friendly solvents like alcohols, glycol ethers &has ability to accept eater, ketones etc.
4.Excellent film formation property. Film being clear, transparent, odourfree and tasteless
5.excellent pigment wetting in non-aqueous medium
6.Excellent compatibility with other film forming resins like N.C., Epoxy alkyds, phenolics, cellulosics etc.
7.Free hydroxyl groups present in it are chemically reactive and undergo reactions with phenolics, epoxies, isocyanides, melamine aldehyde resins etc.
