Cobalt Oxide
Cobalt oxide, with the chemical formula CoO, is a metal oxide that is a black gray hexagonal crystal powder that is insoluble in water, alcohol, and ammonia. It is easily reduced to metallic cobalt by carbon monoxide and can react with silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, or zinc oxide at high temperatures to produce various pigments.

Applications
