Iodine incision dressing is a yellowish colored, adhesive transparent polyurethane film(or Polyethylene film) with
iodide ions's concentration about 0.0782-0.115 mg/100mm2, it allows the skin to breath and hence prevents
moisture build-up under the drape. It corresponds to the surrounding skin even through long surgical operations
and more importantly, right up to the wound edge. Incise film sterile drape, adhesive dressing(drapes) contains
iodine and provides a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and a superior adhesion to the skin and wound
edge.

stays in place even throughout major operations involving prolonged retraction of wound edges.
•Maintains a sterile operation site: Iodine Incise Drape provides a sterile working field on to which internal organs
may be placed without fear of contamination
•Broad spectrum antimicrobial activity: Iodine impregnated adhesive shows antimicrobial activity.
Indications:
Iodine incise dressings are most suitable for surgical procedures where there are great chances of bacterial
wound contamination from skin flora and specifically surgeries such as:
•Plastic Surgery
•Open Heart and Thoracic
•Paediatric
•Orthopaedic
•Major abdominal
•Neuro surgery
•Ophthalmic
