It is both a plant growth regulator and a herbicide. It can inhibit β-amylase activity, inhibit the synthesis of plant RNA and protein, interfere with oxidative phosphorylation and photosynthesis, destroy cell division, and thus can significantly inhibit the germination of potatoes during storage. It can also be used for thinning flowers and thinning fruits. At the same time, chlorpheniramine is a highly selective pre-emergence or early post-emergence herbicide. The agent is absorbed by the grass weed bud sheath, mainly absorbed by the roots of the plants, and can also be absorbed by the leaves, up and down in the body. Conduction can effectively control annual grass weeds and some broad-leaved grasses in crops such as wheat, corn, alfalfa, sunflower, potato, beet, soybean, rice, kidney bean, carrot, spinach, lettuce, onion, pepper and other crops.
It is used for potato sprout suppression, to be used for natural healing after injury (about 14 days or more) and before germination. Spread the medicament mixed with fine dry soil evenly on the potato. The dosage is 0.7% powder per ton of potato 1.4-2.1kg ( Active ingredient 9.8 ~ 14.7g); or use 2.5% powder 400 ~ 600g (active ingredient 10 ~ 15g).
The weeds used for control are mainly green grass seedlings, barnyard grass, wild oats, bluegrass, shepherd's purse, amaranth, oat grass, ryegrass, chickweed, corngrass, ash, purslane, field dodder, etc. Soil treatment is carried out before the seedlings of crops after sowing. Use 0.7% powder 157 ~ 425kg / hm2 single or mixed to prevent sensitive weeds. According to different soil organic matter and temperature, appropriate increase in dosage can expand the herbicidal spectrum.
