Chongqing "Rail Transit Vehicle Gearbox" and "Intra-city Rail Vehicle Gearbox" technology projects were undertaken by the company between 2009 and 2012.
The company commenced research and production of gearboxesfor traction driven rail vehicles,of which the prototype was examined by the National Traction Drive Power Laboratory of Southwest Jiaotong University and passed the assessment performed by a delegation arranged by the Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Committee and composed of personels from the main rail vehicle manufacturers,main traction drive component manufacturers and rail transit operator,as well as related scientists and engineers from universities and research organizations DT360 gearbox,designed and manufactured according to "Chongqing Rail Transit Line #1 Technical Requirements",has been a solid step forward for the company's emergence in the supply of gearboxes in the rail transportation field.
