Product Introduction
Grate cooler is also called quench cooling machine, is an important host equipment in the clinker burning system of cement plant,its main function is to cool and transport cement clinker, can be quenched from 1300-1400ºC to below 100ºC in a few minutes; At the same time, it provides hot air for rotary kiln and decomposing furnace.
Working principle
The hot clinker is discharged from the kiln to the grate bed. Under the reciprocating push of the grate plate, it is distributed along the full length of the grate bed to form a certain thickness of the grate bed. The cooling air after cooling and ripening becomes hot air. The hot air at the hot end enters the kiln and decomposing furnace (pre-decomposing kiln system) as combustion air. Part of the hot air can also be used for drying.
