Its boiling point is 82-83 (-101.3 Kpa), its refractive index is 1.4665, density is 0.994. It has high solubility, low vapor pressure, and low dielectric constant. It can be used as a highly efficient selective solvent, catalyst, and cationic surfactant in industry.
