3 Strand Twisted PP Rope With Lead Core
Lead core rope is a specialty rope that have several uses.It is a twisted rope that has a core or center made with several strands of small lead beads.The strands of lead beads are then covered with a jacket made with polyester,polypropylene or polyethylene.Lead core provides a uniform distribution weight along the edge of the net and is often used in :
1. Gill nets and Trammel Nets to provide uniform weight along te bottom of the nets. Since the lead weights are inside the rope,the nets can be pulled smoothly and quietly from a boat without external leads catching or bumping against the sides of the boat.
2. Sports Nets to prevent wind from blowing the bottom of the nets up. Used often for bottom ropes in baseball batting cages ,foul ball nets,golf barrier nets. and other sport nets.
