Adjustable steel props are a type of construction scaffolding and concrete formwork slab support post which can be in adjustable height according to construction formwork and shuttering requirement. Adjustable steel props include parts and components of
1) inner tube with holes and top base plate, which is made from high strength steel pipe, steel plates.
2) outer tube with prop sleeves, cup sleeve type and threaded sleeve type.
Cup sleeve type scaffold props outer tube is always in OD48mm, OD56mm
Threaded sleeves are in OD60mm-OD89mm customized according to load capacity requirement.
THreaded sleeves can be welded from threaded tube or threaded from outer tube without any welding.
threaded prop sleeve is always adjusted by prop nuts in cast iron or froged with handles.
props outer tube is also include bottom base plate to connect with floor or sole plate in construction, concrete form work and shutrering, building project.
Adjutable formwork scaffolding props load capacity can be in light duty, middle duty and heavy duty according to the props designs. Light duty props can be 10KN-20KN, Heavy duty props ultimate loading capacity can reach 80KN to 100KN.
Construction props can be in surface threatment of cold galvanized(zinc-plated), hot dip galvanized,powder coated or made from galvanized steel pipes and tubes.
