Benzylpenicillin Potassium is a white crystalline powder, odorless or slightly specific odor,moisture absorption.Soluble in water,physiological saline,glucose solution.Suitable for infections caused by sensitive bacteria,such as abscesses,bacteremia,pneumonia and endocarditis.
Benzylpenicillin potassium is used to treat and prevent a wide variety of bacterial infections such as rheumatic fever. Benzathine Benzylpenicillin works by interfering with the formation of the bacteria's cell wall while it is growing. This weakens the cell wall and kills the bacteria.
