Property and Application
Polyquaternium-7 acts as an excellent cationic conditioner. It provides good detangling and slip for easier wet-combing. Moreover, itadds softness and shine to dry hair. Polyquaternium-7 finds application in formulating surfactant based systems such as shampoos
& shower gels and spray-on or leave-in hair & skin conditioners.
1. Polyquaternium-7 can be used effectively in low concentrations in shampoos and shampoos, it strengthens and stabilizes
shampoo foam, while imparting excellent lubricity, wet combability and shine to the hair without excess accumulation. The
recommended product concentration for use in shampoos is 0.5-5% or less.
2. Polyquaternium-7 can make the hair have a high degree of sliding during the setting process of hair styling gel and styling
solution, keep the curls firm and not loose, and make the hair have a soft, healthy and shiny appearance and feel. It is
recommended to add about 1 to 5% of the product.
3. Polyquaternium-7 can be used in skin care products: shaving cream moisturizers or shower lotions, bath products and
deodorants. The amount added is about 0.5 to 5%.
