Creo Scitex Dolev 800V Imagesetter

The imagesetter uses laser optics to output onto film or polyester plates. Dolev 800V+/800V2/800V3 does not require computer experience to operate. During normal use, once exposure starts, there is no need for operator intervention since all functions are performed automatically.

The Dolev 800V+/800V2/800V3 handles high-volume film output of color and black-and-white pages of text and graphics, and processes this data to produce high-quality film output.

Media can be exposed in single or multiple runs continuously, without operator intervention.

Procedures for film exposure are controlled by the Dolev 800V+/800V2/800V3 micro controller.

A punch option allows you to define customized registration marks. This function is especially important when preparing film for impositioning.

The film is automatically cut, exposed and unloaded into a removable output cassette. At the completion of a work session, the cassette is taken to a film processor for development. An optional internal conveyor and inline processor can be used for continuous film development.

The Dolev 800V+/800V2/800V3 changes the way images for plateimposition are prepared. Instead of using time consuming step-and-repeat machines, Dolev 800V+/800V2/800V3 prepares plate-ready separation films to copy directly to plate. Files are transferred from the workstation to the imagesetter and exposed to the film. The film is then transferred to the plate department.
