Copper bar is an exceptional non-ferrous metal bar celebrated for its superior processing properties and outstanding electrical conductivity. It primarily comes in two varieties: brass rod (an economical copper-zinc alloy) and purple copper rod (with a higher copper content). The brass rod, with its distinctive yellow hue, consists of a copper-zinc alloy and features a melting point ranging from 934 to 967 degrees for brass containing 56% to 68% copper. Renowned for its excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, brass is ideal for manufacturing precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. Variations in zinc content produce different colors, such as red-yellow for zinc content between 18%-20% and brownish-yellow for 20%-30% zinc content. Additionally, brass emits a unique sound when struck, making it the material of choice for various eastern and western musical instruments including gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and brass instruments.
