The role and principle of titanium electrode in industrial sewage treatment are described as follows:

Electrochemical oxidation principle:

Titanium electrodes are usually treated by electrochemical oxidation in industrial wastewater treatment. During electrolysis, a REDOX reaction occurs in the electrolyte (sewage) between the anode and cathode, thereby removing contaminants such as organic matter, heavy metals, or chromaticity.

Oxidative decomposition of organic matter:

Titanium anodes produce oxidizing oxides, such as oxygen and hydrogen peroxide, during the electrolysis process, which can oxidize and decompose organic matter and convert it into harmless substances such as CO2 and water.
Degradation of heavy metals and chromaticity substances:

For industrial wastewater containing heavy metal pollutants, the electrochemical oxidation of titanium electrodes can reduce metal ions to metals or precipitates, thereby reducing the concentration of heavy metals in wastewater.
In addition, the titanium electrode can also degrade chrominance substances, improve the transparency of wastewater, and achieve the effect of purifying water quality.
Disinfection and sterilization:
