About U-cup Wiper Seal
U-ring with wiper lip (double-lip wiper);sealing edge of wiper lip lightlyrounded.
The scraper lip is designed in such a way that it reliably scrapes off foreign dirt, but leaves a residual oil film on the piston rod, as this is necessary for correct operation. Radial compression is sufficient to remove adhering particles, dirt and moisture.
The scraper lip on its inner side is designed to have a certain sealing function under low pressure, and its static sealing is achieved by the radial tight fit between the dust ring body and the groove.
