100W Standard RF Attenuator(DC-8GHz, N Male to N Female, IP60)
RF attenuators are used in a wide variety of applications in RF circuits. They are a key building block used in many areas of RF design. By its very nature an impedance matched RF attenuator will improve the impedance match. This can be very useful when driving RF mixers that are match sensitive and their performance will be degraded if a poor match is seen. RF attenuators are used widely within RF circuits for a variety of reasons. Fortunately these attenuators are easy to design and using surface mount technology their performance can be exceedingly good.
Topwave model TPW-ATT100-XX-8-NMF(XX means attenuation in dB), a 100watt DC-3GHz coaxial fixed RF attenuator with N connector, is a typical one with various attenuation like 3dB, 5dB, 10dB, 15dB, 20dB etc. The attenuator can be available to 6GHz, 12GHz and 18GHz, stocks in type N, 7/16DIN and 4.3-10 connectors.
