The transverse ripple compensator with large tie rod is used to compensate the transverse displacement of curved pipeline.
Ripple compensator is a kind of compensation device, which uses the effective expansion deformation of elastic element of ripple compensator to absorb the dimensional change of pipeline, conduit or container caused by expansion with heat and contraction with cold. It can absorb axial, transverse and angular displacements.
Therefore, when designing the bellows, according to the displacement that each wave can bear and the number of corrugations, the bellows can work normally when each wave uniformly bears the displacement load without local overload. When the design is reasonable, the designed working displacement cycle life times can be guaranteed. In JB/T 6169-92 "Metal Bellows" standard, the detection of this property is specified.
