Applications:
Penstocks are primarily used in water supply and drainage projects to control water flow in channels. They are suitable for raw water, clean water, and sewage at normal temperatures. Additionally, they can be used in various fields including wastewater treatment, food and beverage, paper making, chemical industry, power plant coal preparation, mining slag discharge, solid particles, and dust.

Structure and Working Mechanism:
Penstocks feature an integral assembly structure within the channel, including plane reinforcing and plugboard type installations. The penstock is operated by a hoist that drives the screw to rotate. It can be equipped with either a manual or an electric hoist to move the screw under the action of trapezoidal threads, effectively controlling or allowing water flow.
