Ripple compensator is mainly used for noise reduction and vibration reduction. It is widely used in modern industry. 
 

The bellows expansion joint is composed of a bellows and two end pipes. The end pipe is either directly welded to the pipe, or welded to the flange and then connected to the pipe flange.
