Dangshen is a traditional Chinese medicine with the function of Tonifying Qi and deficiency. It mainly has the effects of Tonifying the middle and Supplementing Qi, generating body fluid and nourishing blood. Specific clinical applications are as follows:
1. It is a commonly used medicine to replenish the middle Qi. It is applicable to the syndrome of eating less, loose stool, limb fatigue, etc. caused by insufficient middle Qi. It is often used with Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos and roasted licorice;
