The working principle of the degassing tank is mainly to use vacuum suction to remove air (oxygen) from the material, inhibit oxidation and browning, and improve product quality. Specifically, the working process of the degassing tank can be divided into the following steps:
- Water inlet stage: The liquid in the system enters the degassing tank, and the gas contained in the liquid will be released and separated from the system through the automatic vent valve on the top of the degassing tank.
- Vacuum pumping stage: The degassing pump continuously pumps vacuum in the tank to create a negative pressure state, so that all the dissolved gas in the liquid is released, gathers at the top of the tank and is discharged through the automatic vent valve. At this time, the water inlet solenoid valve is opened again, and new liquid enters the tank. Those degassed and absorbent liquids are reinjected into the system to participate in the circulation and reabsorb the gas in the system.
In this process, the structure of the degassing tank also plays an important role. The degassing tank is usually composed of a barrel body, a top cover, a one-way valve, a nozzle, a control valve, a lighting lamp, a sight hole, etc. The parts in contact with the juice are usually made of high-quality stainless steel and medium-hard edible rubber to ensure food safety and hygiene.
Different types of degassing tanks may have some differences. For example, in some degassing tanks, a condenser may be set up to condense the moisture in the discharged gas into a liquid for recycling. In addition, some degassing tanks may also be equipped with heating devices to improve degassing efficiency.
