The product is applied to collect, transport and store of virus samples.
Flocked tipped swab allows a better clinical sample collection and the immediate release into the liquid transport medium. It has a plastic stick with breakpoint to allow the swab break into the test tube and successive collection by screw capture cap.
Precautions:
Check the collection tube before use. If the package is damaged, the storage solution is turbid, discolored, dried, or it has foreign objects, leaks, or exceeds the expiration date, stop using it.
This product is only used for storing virus after sample collection and in vitro transportation within 72 hours.
The collection tube is only for single use. After use, discard it according to the regulations.
The recommended storage temperature is 4-25ºC, avoid direct sunlight.
Steps for usage
Open the pack and take out the collection tube. Take a matching swab and take a sample from the target site.
Remove the cap of the collection tube and immerse the swab with sanple in the preservation solution.
Break the swab stick along the breakpoint, tighten cap of the tube and shake it several times to complete the sampling.
Put the collection tube at proper place, sealed and stored, and then transported it for test in 72 hours.
