Tubes are associated with the risk of bursting if they operate under such conditions as high temperature (>60ºC) and corrosive fluids (strong acid, alkali or solvent). High temperatures (>60ºC) cause softening of the tube and limit burst pressure which would be considerably reduced. Also, exposure to chemical gases in the air might accelerate the aging and cracking, of the tube. Please do not expose tubes to humid environments or store them for an extended period (>12 months); otherwise, it becomes prone to cracking due to hydrolysis effects.
