Introduction to piston rings:
The piston ring is one of the main sealing devices of reciprocating compressors. The quality, function, and lifespan of this component play a crucial role in the normal operation, power consumption, and economic benefits of the compressor.
The function of piston rings:
The piston has a circular spatial clearance in the cylinder. The piston ring installed in the piston ring groove blocks the compressed gas from leaking out of the gap between the piston and the cylinder as the piston moves back and forth. There are several piston rings on a piston to block it, so it plays a role in blocking, throttling, and achieving sealing.
Characteristics of piston rings:In order to enhance wear resistance and adapt to different gases, we have selectively filled graphite, carbon fiber, glass fiber, molybdenum disulfide and other raw materials in the material. We have customized various formulas to adapt to the operating conditions of the compressor. The characteristic is that it does not require oil injection and has its own lubricity. During reciprocating friction, a lubricating thin film is formed on the surface of the cylinder.

By 1977, through relentless pursuit of excellence, they partnered with Longwan school office to establish the pioneering Wenzhou Tianlong Petrochemical Machinery Factory, focusing on the production of sealing rings. Although the early years were fraught with challenges due to a simplistic product structure and imperfect technical capabilities, the founders demonstrated resilience, addressing production and sales hurdles with ingenuity and determination.
In 1979, driven by a vision for expansion, the company diversified its product offerings beyond initial sealing components to include air valves, packing parts, pistons, piston rods, connecting rods, and bearing bushings. By 1984, the enterprise transitioned into the private sector, rebranded as Wenzhou Air Compressor Valve Factory, and proudly became Wenzhou's first manufacturer specializing in compressor components.
In 1990, our products gained market recognition, enabling us to join the ranks of designated production enterprises of the Petrochemical Industry Bureau (formerly the Ministry of Chemical Industry). We became esteemed members of the refining and chemical spare parts network of China National Gas Corporation, and part of the spare parts resource market of China Petrochemical.
In 1992, a strategic shareholding reform led to our rebranding as Wenzhou Jianqing Industrial Company, marking a pivotal shift in our organizational trajectory.
Entering the new millennium, we embraced continuous innovation, transitioning from import imitation to independent design and research and development. Through incremental advances, we have solidified our standing in the industry.
