ALTAIR® 2X is a high-performance portable gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of multiple gases and suitable for gas leak detection in various industrial environments. Its main functions include real-time monitoring of toxic gases, combustible gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and oxygen concentrations. The instrument also supports wireless data transmission, which can transmit detection data to a remote monitoring system in real time to ensure safety.
Main features and functions:
Multi-gas detection:
ALTAIR® 2X can monitor up to 2 gases simultaneously, including oxygen (O2), combustible gases, toxic gases (such as CO, H2S, NO2, SO2, etc.), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Provides flexible sensor configuration, and can replace sensors on site as needed to support the detection of different gases.
Intelligent sensor technology:
Equipped with XCell Pulse technology sensors, it can improve sensor sensitivity and stability, reduce failures and maintenance needs.
With automatic electronic pulse check function, ensure consistent sensor performance.
Alarm function:
Local alarm: It has triple alarm functions of sound, vibration and vision to ensure that the operator can be notified immediately when dangerous gas is detected.
Remote alarm: Through the wireless function, the alarm status and data can be transmitted to the security personnel or monitoring center in real time.
Motion detection: If the device does not move within a certain period of time, the device will enter the early warning state and trigger the alarm.
Persistent alarm mode: Even if the alarm is lifted, the red alarm LED will continue to flash until it is lifted through IR communication or automatic test station.
Convenient operation and interface:
Equipped with a large-size display screen, it provides clear data such as gas concentration, alarm information, battery status, etc.
The display interface supports the rotation function, which automatically adjusts the display content according to the orientation of the device, making it easy to read data at various angles.
The operation interface is simple and the button operation is convenient.
Temperature and humidity compensation:
The built-in temperature and humidity compensation mechanism can adjust the sensor readings under different environmental conditions to ensure measurement accuracy.
Battery and endurance:
Equipped with a rechargeable lithium battery and supports USB charging. The battery will be automatically initialized when the device starts, and the battery status will be displayed.
The device provides up to 12 hours of working time in normal operation mode, suitable for all-weather monitoring.
Data Logging and Transmission:
Supports data logging and data transmission, which can store a large amount of measurement data, and download and remotely monitor data through MSA Link™ software or other supported interfaces.
Protection Rating:
With IP68 protection rating, the device can work normally for a long time in harsh environments, including waterproof and dustproof protection.
Device Mode:
Supports sleep mode, which can automatically enter power saving state when not in use for a long time.
