Product Description
Bleed valves are essential components, specifically engineered for use with high-performance instrument devices like multi-valve manifolds or gauge valves. These valves efficiently vent signal line pressure to the atmosphere before the removal of an instrument, ensuring safe and seamless operation or aiding in accurate calibration processes.
Capable of withstanding a maximum temperature of 450°F (232°C) when equipped with SAE end connections using a fluorocarbon FKM O-ring, making it suitable for high-temperature use.
Supports a maximum pressure of 4500 psig (310 bar) with SAE end connections, indicating robust performance under high-pressure conditions.
Caution
When installing a bleed valve, ensure the vent tube is oriented to direct system fluid away from personnel. Open bleed valves slowly, as they lack packing, which may result in slight fluid weepage on opening. Protect staff from exposure to system fluids to maintain safety during operations.
