Application:
The cover tape is mainly used in the electronic component mounting industry. It is used with a carrier tape (carrier tape) to store electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, etc. in the carrier tape, and the cover tape is sealed in the carrier tape. A closed package is formed over the pocket to protect the electronic components from contamination and damage during transportation. When the electronic components are placed, the cover tape is peeled off, and the automatic placement device sequentially takes out the components contained in the pocket through the precise positioning of the tape index holes, and mounts them on the integrated circuit board (PCB board).
