FG (speed output signal)
FG function is also commonly referred to as tach out. This function is mainly used to output a square wave signal from the inside of the fan, and the frequency of the signal represents the speed of the fan. Conventional four-stage fan: speed = FG frequency *30. That is, the fan speed can be read by reading the FG signal.
Rd signal (stall alarm function)
The RD function is also known as the alarm signal. RD is low when the fan is running and high when the fan is locked. Judge
whether the fan is in normal operation or locked state by monitoring the RD signal level.
PWM speed regulation function
PWM refers to pulse width modulation. It means that the frequency (period) of the pulse signal is fixed, and the width ratio (duty cycle: that is, the space ratio) of the pulse wave is changed by the size of the input signal (DC). The on cycle and off cycle of the pulse signal are changed to change the speed of the fan, so as to save energy and reduce noise.
Automatic restart
When the fan is locked, the working current of the fan will be cut off automatically, and the fan is in the state of low current, so as to protect the fan from burning due to high current. Another function of auto restart: the fan automatically outputs a
