Energy Measurement Gas Turbine Flow Meters with High Accuracy
Gas turbine flowmeter is a new generation of intelligent flowmeter, which has the advantages of high precision, good repeatability, wide range, small volume, relatively simple structure and few moving parts. Its working principle is: when the airflow enters the flowmeter, it is first rectified and accelerated by the rectifier. Under the action of the fluid, the turbine overcomes the resistance torque and starts to rotate. When the torque reaches a balance, the turbine speed is stable, and its speed is proportional to the gas flow rate, and the wheel counter is driven to rotate through mechanical transmission and magnetic coupling, directly accumulating the total volume of the gas under the operating conditions. Since the gas is composed of a large number of molecules that move in disorder, the distance between the molecules is large. With the change of temperature or pressure, the molecular distance will change, and its volume is inversely proportional to the pressure and proportional to the temperature.
