Erbium oxide is a pink powder with the formula Er2O3. It is easy to absorb moisture and carbon dioxide, and is transformed into hexagonal crystallization when heated to 1300ºC, and does not melt. Water Solubility: Slightly soluble in inorganic acid, insoluble in water.
Avoid acidic moisture/moisture. Insoluble in water, soluble in acid. Insoluble in water. Soluble in inorganic acids (except HF and H3PO4) to form the corresponding salt. It absorbs CO2 and H2O in the air to form a basic carbonate.
Application
Used as an additive for magnetic materials and phosphors, raw materials for special luminous glass.
