Solubility: It is soluble in water and ethanol, and slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran. Europium chloride has a strong water - absorbing property. When the anhydrous substance is exposed to humid air, it will quickly absorb water and turn into the hexahydrate. Its aqueous solution is neutral to methyl orange and acidic to litmus.
Uses
Scientific Research Field: It is an important reagent for scientific research, used in biochemical research, etc. For example, it is used as a starting material in some studies to prepare other europium compounds.
