Fan Filter Unit (FFU)
Fan Filter Unit (FFU) is a motorized air filtering equipment, used to supply HEPA purified air to cleanrooms, laboratories, cleanroom equipment, medical facilities or microenviroments by removing harmful airborne particles from recirculating air. Equipped with primary and high-efficiency two-stage filters, the top of the fan is filtered by primary and high-efficiency filters,and clen air is evenly sent out an a wind speed of 0.45 meters per second. The units are usually installed within the system's ceiling or floor grid.

Application
FFUs are widely applied in clean room including modular clean rooms as well as clean benches. They work as the core elements of the clean rooms for filtering laminar air and supplying clean air.Their internal baffling plates and anodized aluminum diffuser panel provide uniform air speed across the filter face, ensuring laminar airflow.
Maintenance
The scheduled maintenance of the unit depends on the installed location and HEPA filter. The HEPA filter must be replaced when the laminar flow rate falls below 70 feet/min.
Replace HEPA filter requires removal of the unit from the ceiling grid. Remove the metal screw and hold the HEPA filter to the case. Replace the filter and secure it to the case with the same screw before placing it back onto the ceiling grid.
