Shunt is an instrument for measuring DC current, which is made according to the principle that a voltage is generated across a resistor when a DC current passes through it.
Shunts are generally used as fixed-value low-resistance for expanding the current range. Usually connected in parallel with the moving coil of an ammeter or galvanometer.
Applicaition1)Battery management systems, power electronics current sensing, frequency converters, UPS, motor control and electronic load equipment.
2)It can be used as a DC standard shunt in laboratories such as scientific research units, power supply units, factories, and measurement institutes.
