Our company manufactures various tanks for Aquaculture and other applications in many different diameters and depths. Most of our fish tanks are fabricated using contact molds built by our skilled staff. Thickness, color and shape can be altered depending on the application for the tank. If your application requires a size we do not currently manufacture, we can make a mold and produce tanks to your specifications. We have the ability to put your concept into CAD to insure the design meets your satisfaction prior to construction.
The FRP tanks for fish farm can be designed as round, rectangular and square, slope bottom, panel type and oval type, etc.
These large diameter tanks are ideal for fish raising and holding. The panel type design allows these tanks to be shipped in a package of several side panels and a one piece bottom, allowing us to ship a large quantity on a truck load for a tremendous freight savings. The floor and panels are bolted together in the field with stainless bolts, and the seams are glassed, forming a rigid one piece tank.
There has been a significant shift towards round tanks for fish rearing. Properly designed round tanks with a central drain, moderately sloped floor and proper inlet piping take advantage of gravitational and centrifugal forces to keep themselves clean. The water moving in a circular flow will carry the solids to the central drain, from where they can be piped away for separation and re-use or disposal. With a properly designed inlet system, the oxygen rich water will provide just the right current for good muscle tone while distributing new water evenly throughout the tank.
