Decanter, also known as Decanter, is one of the most important equipment in the SBR production process. It can be divided into siphon decanter, revolving decanter, self-floating raft decanter and pedal decanter. Decanter is a kind of equipment which can decanter the recovered water from the surface of the pool and ensure the water quality without mixing.
The decanter is a necessary mechanical unit for the treatment of wastewater by the Seguencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process (SBR) , which is a Activated Sludge Process for sewage treatment. The treatment mechanism of the intermittent activated sludge is the same as that of the conventional activated sludge. The difference is that the raw sewage does not flow sequentially through the treatment units but rather into a single reactor, the basic operation procedure is composed of five basic processes: fill, react, Settle, draw and idle, which can realize different operation in time sequence.
