Chrome Oxide Greens are used in a wide variety of applications because of its excellent opacity, outdoor durability and heat fastness. Its hardness is also highly valued for surface finishing, where Chrome Oxide Greens are used as abrasive components. They are also used as a base oxide to produce several other metal oxide based pigments.

Product description: |
Chrome Oxide Green(COG) is also called chromium oxide, molecular weight is 151.99, in hexagonal system, light green or dark green powder. Relative density is 5.21g/cm3, refractive index is 2.5(good hiding power). melting point is 2265ºC, boiling point is 3654ºC. Normally has metallic luster, magnetic properties, great hiding power, high temperature resistance, sunlight resistance, and insoluble in water or acid. Stable in air, has no influence to regular acid, alkali , hydrogen sulfide and other gases. COG has excellent pigment quality and sturdiness, best hiding power, color saturation, occupies an important position in the fields of inorganic pigment. Widely used in ceramic, enamel, coating, ink, paint, green floor, green glass, and other fields. |

Reagent grade chromium green
Chrome oxide green is used as raw material in the preparation of pigments for porcelain, ceramic glazes, plastics, cements, roofing tiles, linoleum, industrial coatings, frits, colored glass, stainless steel electrodes, paints, industrial coatings, inks and as catalyst in the chemical industry. In addition to these areas, it is also used in the production of aerospace super-alloys and refractory bricks for glass and fiberglass industry.
