Classification:
According to the sectional characteristics of the profiled tube, can be divided into three categories:
1) Equal wall profiled pipe
Equal-wall profiled pipe is a profiled pipe with the same wall thickness and different cross-section shapes. It can be divided into two categories according to the different cross-section shapes, namely, equal-wall profiled pipe and equal-wall profiled pipe with bending rib. Most of these profiled tubes are made by cold-drawing method or welded tube rolling forming method.
2) Shaped pipe with different walls
The profile tubes are profiled tubes with different wall thicknesses. This type of profile tube can be further divided into two or more axes of symmetry according to the cross-section shape of the profile tube, eccentric tube and different-walled folding rib tube three categories. The first two types of deformation process is complex, must be based on the section characteristics of the selection of reasonable forming methods (such as extrusion), or the use of profiled billets drawn or cold rolled and obtained. As for the folded tube, because of its wall thickness is not much difference, in fact, with the production of equal-wall folded tube is basically the same method.
3) Longitudinal variable cross-section tube
