Titanium dioxide occurs naturally in titanium ores such as titanite and rutile. Its molecular structure gives it high brightness and concealability, but it must first be chemically extracted and purified.
1. Edible grade titanium dioxide, referred to as white pigment, non-toxic and tasteless, edible, can not be used for chemical reaction in food, directly added to food, just add a few percent, whitening shielding effect, widely used in flour, drinks, meatballs, lipstick, children's toys, pet food and other white food.
2.Bleach. Titanium dioxide can be used as all food white pigment for paint, ink, plastic, rubber, paper making, chemical fiber and other industries; Titanium dioxide (nanometer) is widely used in functional ceramics, catalysts, cosmetics, photosensitive materials and other white inorganic pigments. It is one of the strongest white pigments, with excellent covering power and color fastness, suitable for opaque white products.
3. Rutile type is especially suitable for outdoor plastic products, which can give good optical stability to the products. Anatase titanium is mainly used for indoor products, but with blue light, high whiteness, large covering power, strong coloring power and better dispersion.
4. Widely used as paint, paper, rubber, plastic, enamel, glass, cosmetics, ink, watercolor and oil color pigment, can also be used for the application of oily titanium dioxide attached inorganic oxide film on the surface of titanium dioxide, so that its surface property from hydrophilic type into a strong hydrophobic type.
