Acetic acid, also known as acetic acid, chemical formula CH3COOH, is an organic monobasic acid, which is the main component of vinegar. Acetic acid is a weak monobasic acid in aqueous solution. The acidity coefficient is 4.8, pka=4.75 (25 ºC), and the pH of 1mol/l acetic acid solution (similar to the concentration of household vinegar) is 2.4, that is, only 0.4% of acetic acid molecules are dissociated.
