Cold Shrinkable Cable Accessories Electrical Shrink Armor Wrap Tape
Armored tape also called armor wrap, industrial wrapping tape, armor cast or armor belt.
It is a flexible fiberglass knit fabric tape that has been saturated with a curable black polyurethane resin syrup that starts to cure when water is added. Once wet, the fiber tape becomes tacky and sticks to itself.

| How to use the Armor cast | |||||||||||||||||||
1.Prepare the surface by cleaning and roughening the cable. 2.Put on enclosed latex gloves. 3.Put water into the packing bag, press several seconds and take out the tape. Squeeze out excess water. 4.Apply around the cable extending up to 50mm either side of the cable to ensure complete coverage. It is important that the bandage is applied. 5.Quickly as curing begins once it is taken out of the water. 6.When wrapping, pull each layer tightly by using your hand to mould and squeeze the layers together. 7.Continue this action during and upon completion. | |||||||||||||||||||
